“EL-Stacja” Music Show
Hi there.
There is a show "EL-Stacja". They play only electronic music but I found they decided to play also my ZX Spectrum songs (for AY and for GS devices). The show is in Polish but still might be interesting for somebody.
Date was 10.11.2011, but here is the archive. On the beginning, on the end and a small part in the middle - there are also other chiptunes + some regular electronic music, btw.
An additional info: there's another part of "8 Bit Operators" album, this time dedicated to The Beatles band. There is also a ZX Spectrum accent - I made for them a cover of "Help!" song. :)

I uploaded my work for CC 2011 into their server and also I sent it in 27.06.2011 into entry@cc.org.ru address and to info@cc.org.ru just in case.
I have got an information that it was received and ACCEPTED in 29.06.2011 from alexander.kalmykov@gmail.com (Aleksandr Kalmykov)
Now I read results from CC 2011 party and I see there is NO my work at all.

“Critical Error” music’s recordings in MP3
Another great music gift for all AY fans!

Hi there.
Some people asked several times for the "Critical Error" music's recordings in MP3 format.
Additionally, I promised it on the occasion of publishing "Winter Funk" song, so today I put the entire and full version of "Critical Error" ZX demo original score, that includes the "Winter Funk" song too. Here it is.
It also contains a supplementary lost 'intro' part that isn't present in the demo, as I lost the sources and now I have it only in a recording form.
It's quite a long song, different in every demo's part, having various styles and moods of chiptune music.
This is a synthetic-music part of the score, there is however also a digital part (outro) available on the Internet under a name "Kaminari".

CHERRY TOBACCO by Yerzmyey

1) I was bored. 2) I refuse to use square wave for leads. The song has been made on ZX Spectrum 48K with AY-interface. It is a 3-channels generator based on square waves. It has additional "buzzers" but they're designed mostly for bass. Therefore everybody use squares as leads on AY, which is boring. Still, it's most annoying to tune the "buzzers" in higher frequencies to make them sound like some funny leads. But I keep experimenting for many years: what more can be pulled-out from AY without additional CPU's activity (like it's being done on Atari ST for example). Hence I use only original possibilities of AY chip. And now I'm going to smoke some cherry tobacco. Greetz, ppl.

Triton and mermaid by Mister Beep

Another 1-bit chiptune from ZX SPECTRUM 48K and its beeper.
This is my very first song made on Shiru's TRITONE engine. The engine's name is a joke because it provides _three tone_ channels plus one track for drums (which gives 4 audible channels from a single beeper). Also it gives various modulations and volumes.
Recorded from real hardware. Enjoy.
PS: Yes, sound might seem a bit "fluent" sometimes but remember - that's a software-synthesizer on a 3,5 Mhz CPU!!!!

As usual from me - another 1-bit chiptune. This time it's a test of the newest 1-bit engine programmed by Shiru - QChan. As you maybe know, normally 1-bit sound from ZX Spectrum has only 1 channel (close to square wave) and no volume control at all. But thanks to programmer's skills, we've got here 4 tone channels + 1 channel of drums! :) Also, which is important, we have evnvelopes of instruments and numerous steps of volume! :) This song is kind of melodical and dynamic stuff for a game, however in the middle it contains also kind of a calm ballade. Enjoy. :)
